The Model Gateway software has 3 interfaces:

1. Analyzer Interface - Automatically loads new spectrum data whenever a new spectrum is available

2. Lab Interface - Lab measurements are loaded into the database either manually, using an excel-like interface or automatically, through modbus interface.

3. DCS Interface - new predictions are sent to the DCS for each analyzed property whenever a new spectrum is acquired

 

Process Operation

During Process Operation, ModelGateway collects spectra from the analyzer, predicts the properties and reports to the DCS through modbus. 

The newly acquired spectrum is saved in the database for further future usage by the Modeling Process.

 

Modeling Process

When new Lab Data is available, it is loaded into a database and initiates re-modeling. Once a new model is ready, it is evaluated and then stored for use on the following acquired spectra.
